Girls' fall activities

Soccer.
Ballet.
Softball - the entire girls' league!

Allison cute in her uniform.

Some other fall events 2008

Emily turned 25! I can't remember when we actually celebrated it because her birthday kept moving around (and her age kept changing as well). As best we can understand it, since she is a "folk person," which I translate as ethnic minority, her village uses the lunar calendar, so like the Jewish holidays, her birthday slides around on the western calendar (we still can't figure out what system she's using to calculate her age, though...).

Allison and her buddy Alexa (almost) had a sleepover!

Allison's piano lesson

Allison has been taking weekly piano lessons and loving it.

Hong Kong swim meet

Henry did pretty well, considering he just aged up into the 12 and under category and the boys had a blast together in Hong Kong, including of course, 2 visits to Hong Kong Disneyland!

They had a lot of laughs about this park attendant's chosen English name, Xerxes!

Mantas Invitational Swim Meet

Henry qualified for the Mantas Invitational Swim Meet in Hong Kong and went with Eric for the weekend in early November.

It began with a lion dance and parade.

Cute fall photos of the kids

Halloween and Sukkot

Proof we had a pumpkin; we even made pumpkin soup.
