Beijing Highlights: The Great Wall
We rode the Gondola. Our tour guide Angie was extremely popular with the younger girls.
Our Beijing tour
Since there were 10 of us we had our own bus and tour guide, which was a lot of fun! Angie was great!
Especially when Danielle and I took the bus to go shopping at the Pearl market!!!
Despite all our best efforts, Zachary was not persuaded
And subsisted mainly on fruit snacks....
3. Roast Peking Duck
2. Hot Pot
(which was maybe a little too much work for Mike)
We introduced the Swartzes to our 3 favorite types of real Chinese Cuisine:
1. Xiao Long Bao and Soup Dumplings
On and Under the Huangpu
Some more photos from our Huangpu Cruise.
We also took the psychedelic Bund Tourist tunnel ride under the Huangpu.
